PACT Enterprise Awards Honors Relay for Advancing Philly Tech
May 15, 2018
Relay Network received the highest honor at the 25th Annual PACT Enterprise Awards in the Technology Emerging category. Hosted by the Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies, the awards recognize technology and healthcare companies that are transforming their industry.
“Technology Emerging” may have been the name of Relay’s award, but it also felt like the theme of the 25th annual PACT Enterprise Awards. This year the honors — given by the Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies to recognize technology and healthcare companies that are transforming their industry — were more competitive than ever. The packed ceremony was a great sign that innovation is on the rise in Philadelphia, and an exciting taste of where things are going.
Relay’s been in the running for an Enterprise Award for years, even earning finalist status. So to finally win the top spot from PACT — the most prestigious Philadelphia business and technology awards — was a pure joy for our team. Winning against such strong finalists in the most competitive year to date made the award even sweeter.
We were also lucky enough to be recognized in the same year our longtime friend Mike DiPiano was honored with the PACT’s “Legend” award. Mike is the managing general partner and co-founder of NewSpring Capital, where he’s invested in and cheered on Relay for years. The recognition is well-deserved — you can read more about Mike’s good work, including a quote from our founder Matt, in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Winning at the 2018 PACT Enterprise Awards validates that Relay is doing remarkable work in our industry. The event also gave us a great opportunity to show investors and the Philly business community what Relay can do for them. With this win under our belt, we’re more committed than ever to reimagining how businesses engage with their customers to deliver exceptional service experiences.
